The research and policy unit aspires to be at the forefront of transformative research and policy work in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and contributes to the state-of-the-art breakthroughs in the field of entrepreneurship and organizational excellence.
The unit aims to develop research-informed knowledge and provide implications for private and public organizations in Qatar in alignment with trends in research and innovation. The unit has two main aims:
- Publishing cutting-edge research outcomes in international scholarly and managerial journals.
- Serving the community by disseminating knowledge in several forms such as practitioner, policy whitepapers, and local news outlets.
Objectives
- Applying expertise from across Qatar University and within the College of Business & Economics to bring new ideas and produce breakthrough research for the market in Qatar.
- Generate new ideas and devise new solutions by bringing together leaders from academia, industry and government to discuss current issues in entrepreneurship and business excellence.
- Develop research-led business insights in Qatar and publish the findings in academic, practitioner and esteemed press outlets.
