The following high school grade requirements mentioned in this section are minimum scores, they do not guarantee admission, and they may change according to the strength of the applicant pool and the available capacity in the College of Dental Medicine.

Due to the limited number of 25 seats, students with the minimum requirements are not automatically guaranteed acceptance to the College. Only complete applications will be considered by the Admissions Committee as acceptance is a highly competitive process and limited.

    • Students can apply by logging in to the Qatar University website and filling the Apply to QU | Qatar University.
    • No conditional acceptance is offered

    Transfer Admission Criteria

If you are considering transferring to the College of Dental Medicine, you must complete ALL the set of requirements mentioned and needed by the college, and submit to Banner.

The Dental Student Interview Committee, which includes faculty members appointed by the Assistant Dean for student affairs, will identify the top students. An email will be sent to them to submit their personal statements (350 words) describing their motivation to study dentistry. Any supporting documents proving work experience, voluntary work, or attendance at dental activities should also be submitted to the Student Affairs Office at cden.sa@qu.edu.qa.

Personal statements are reviewed by a committee based on personal qualifications, academic records, and personal aspirations. Applicants are then invited for an interview. At the completion of the interview cycle, a ranked list is established by the admission committee based on academic and personal qualifications.

Admission to Dental Medicine is extraordinarily competitive and spaces are limited due to the capacity of the college, so the higher the academic records, the greater the chances of being accepted.
