Born into a long line of family physicians, I learned early on the joys of healing and making a difference in patients’ lives. To me, dentistry is about working respectfully and diligently, being able to take charge as a leader but also work within a team, in a paced environment. The profession is very interesting to me, as it not only blends my love of science combined with manual dexterity, but you also have the ability to make a real difference in your patients' quality of life. I am honored to be a student from the first batch of the College of Dental Medicine in the State of Qatar and work in such a supportive environment, including caring and friendly faculty and peers. I look forward to becoming a dentist and serve my country.
