Who We Are?
We are a research network dedicated to advancing Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) through scientific research, collaboration, and education. Our members include researchers, practitioners, and academics committed to integrating TCIM into healthcare systems. Our goal is mainly to create a leading environment for advancing clinical practice, research, education, training, and public awareness in TCIM at national, regional, and international levels.
Mission:
Our mission is to enhance scientific research and clinical practice, integrating TCIM into Qatar's healthcare system to meet community health needs. Our strategies include:
Encouraging pioneering research to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TCIM practices and products.
Supporting the role of TCIM in strengthening the healthcare system.
Providing professional training.
Raising public awareness.
Promoting national and international collaboration in research, publication, and education.
Many countries, such as China, India, and Korea, have revitalized their traditional medical heritage. Given the rich yet underutilized medical legacy of Arabic and Islamic civilizations, we strive to leverage scientific research to integrate and advance Arabic and Islamic medicine within TCIM.
Objective:
To establish Qatar as a leading hub for research, education, and development in TCIM by fostering national and international collaboration in scientific research, publication, training, and education- particularly in Arabic and Islamic medicine.
