The Board of Advisors provides the dean with the advice and assistance of individuals whose experiences offer a variety of perspectives on the legal profession in order to advance the quality and standing of the Law School. The Board of Advisors consists of alumni and members of the legal community at the highest level of their fields. The college advisory board was established and had its inaugural meeting in November 2013. Very important matters on legal education, research and community service were discussed. The advisory board was impressed with the work of the college and advised on future improvements. It is largely from the advisory board’s appreciation of the college’s work that the college has been approached for the consultancy work by the Supreme Committee. This is also partly why the offers made to the college’s students in externship have increased.
