    Integrated Core & e-Learning



    The Integrated Core course is a two-level integrated-skills course with an e-learning component and projects to promote independent learning, which using content-based materials covers reading, writing, listening and speaking – as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation,  to prepare students for English-medium academic programs offered by Qatar University.

    Course Description

    English Integrated Core: Elementary is a beginner/elementary-level to pre-intermediate level integrated-skills course that aims to help prepare students to study in an English-medium academic environment. The course develops reading, listening, writing and speaking skills to a pre-intermediate level using a variety of reading and listening texts as well as written and spoken tasks. These are also used to develop necessary subsidiary skills in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Classroom learning is reinforced with a course-long project, encouraging collaboration and use of appropriate ICT in order to promote learner autonomy and self-assessment.

    Course Description

    English Integrated Core Intermediate is an intermediate/upper intermediate integrated-skills course that aims to help prepare students to study in an English-medium academic environment. The course develops reading, listening, writing and speaking skills at intermediate/upper intermediate levels using a variety of texts, listening sources, written and spoken tasks.  Classroom learning is reinforced with a collaborative project as well as a variety of integrated tasks using appropriate ICT whenever required in order to promote learner autonomy and self- assessment.
