Health Surveillance

Health Surveillance at LARC has three aspects:

1. Daily Clinical examination:

   Rodents are examined by LARC Veterinarian /Animal technician for signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behavior in animals.

2. Sentinel Monitoring Program:

   Sentinel rodents used to monitor the health status of mice and rat colonies as per FELASA recommendation.

3. Environmental Monitoring Program:Several laboratory tests monitored to ensure the sanitation and sterilization in LARC.
