The MIS program is conducted in English. Therefore, in addition to the admission requirements currently defined for the CBE offered programs that are taught in Arabic, students in the MIS major are expected to demonstrate proficiency in English by satisfying minimum English competency requirements consisting of one of the following:
- a TOEFL minimum score of 500,
- IELTS minimum score of 5.5, or
- IBT minimum score of 61.
Students who fail to demonstrate the minimal English competency requirement may enroll in the English component of the University Foundation Program before enrolling in the MIS program.
In order to declare a major in Management Information Systems, students should have completed a minimum of 45 credits and be in good academic standing. Students should obtain approval from their academic advisors, head of department, and associate dean for student affairs.
