Welcome to the Department of Management and Marketing. It is my pleasure to introduce you to the department and programs we offer.
The department offers two programs: Management and Marketing. You can also choose one of the seven minors available for business students; Management, Marketing, International Business, Accounting, MIS, Finance, and Economics
The Management and Marketing Majors prepare undergraduate students for careers in business and to pursue graduate studies. Applied education and our strong industry links provide students with work opportunities in a variety of organizations. Our graduates are competitive in the job market and have successfully taken up positions of leadership and responsibility in all areas of business in government and private organizations, both at the local and international levels.
Internship Program
As a junior business student, you will participate in the College of Business and Economics internship program. The Internship in Business allows you the opportunity to spend a summer semester working with business professionals where you will earn three hours of credit plus a salary. As a result of the internship, you will gain practical experience and will make better career decisions. Employers perceive the internship experience very positive and you should capitalize on this advantage when looking for a permanent job.
Faculty
The department faculty members are of high Caliber and have received their Ph.D s from reputable Universities around the world. Our faculty members are dedicated to providing a relevant and innovative education for students of all levels, from undergraduates to MBAs, and equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for top careers.
