CENG Success Oasis at Qatar University's College of Engineering aims at helping students reach their utmost abilities and thrive academically by providing academic support services to all students registered in engineering courses at QU.
Our Services:

Peer Tutoring: Students can book personalized sessions with qualified peer tutors, who will help them learn how to engage their own active learning, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Weekly Revision Sessions: Held in campus or online, these supplemental instruction sessions provide additional learning resources.

In-Class Tutorials: Conducted face to face, in-class tutorials offer hands-on activities within the course framework reinforcing key concepts and helping students apply and evaluate their learning.

In-Lab Support: Qualified peer tutors provide individual support during lab sessions to help students in attaining related course learning outcomes

Tailored support programs: These intervention programs consist of several learning modules to address a particular need in a course.

Academic Workshops: Interactive sessions designed to enhance students' skills in specific areas that include hands-on training focused on teaching students how to effectively use industry-standard engineering software. These workshops provide practical applications, troubleshooting tips, and best practices to enhance technical proficiency and prepare students for academic and professional projects.
Service providers: The learning support services are offered by esteemed college professors, teaching assistants, academic specialists, and certified peer tutors.

Join us as a Tutor:
Are you interested in helping fellow students succeed? Our tutors are top-performing students who have achieved an “A" or “B+" in the subject they wish to tutor and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. To apply, submit:
- An unofficial academic transcript (available from MyBanner Self Service).
- A cover letter detailing:
- Why you want to become a tutor.
- Any relevant work or volunteer experience.
- Skills that support student success.
