    Workshops and Labs

    Architecture Model-making Workshop, accommodating up to 24 students, our lab is equipped with furniture, tools, and materials (some freely available to students) for model building overseen by a qualified Lab Technician. The tools include a wide range of hand tools and thirteen machines such as a band saw, disc sander, 3D printers, and laser cutter.  

    Building Science Laboratory, accommodating up to 27  students, our lab is equipped with instruments for studying building acoustics, noise controls, and illumination studies including sample of construction materials and building systems that supports the teaching of courses or themes as related to climate design, environmental control, material and method of building construction and thermal comfort.

    Digital Printing Laboratory is a part of Building Science Lab, accommodating up to 27 students, our lab is a dedicated student workspace equipped with multiple digital printing options from traditional paper rolls from the small- to large-scale.

    Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CAAD) Lab is a shared facility among different departments in College of Engineering that accommodates up to 35 students and includes high-performance PC workstations with 22-inch computer monitors. All PCs are equipped with the state-of-the-art software packages for CAD and image processing.
