Am I able to apply if my undergraduate degree is not a BSc in Pharmacy (or equivalent)?

Do I need to be a licensed pharmacist in Doha to apply to the program?
No. This program does not require the student to be a licensed pharmacist. In addition, this program accepts a non-pharmacy student.
Am I able to join the program if I am a graduate from another university?
The program accepts applications from local and international pharmacy and non-pharmacy graduates.
Is there a part-time program for MSc?
No. The program is currently offered on a full-time basis only. However, coursework during the first two semesters is undertaken 4 days/week and in the afternoons, so students can maintain a full-time job if this does not interfere with studies.
What are the general requirements for application into the MSc program?

What is the minimum TOEFL score required by the college?
Applicant must achieve a minimum score of 520 on the paper-based TOEFL (or equivalent) assessment or 6.0 on the IELTS assessment. For more information, go here.
Can I apply without a GRE score?
Yes. A recent Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score will not be required, but is recommended as it will strengthen the application. The GRE score will be considered, when available, in evaluating the student application.
What is the minimum GRE score required by the college?
No minimum GRE score has been set. Applicants will be ranked in accordance with GRE and other academic and non-academic performance indicators for the admission purposes.
Are GRE subject scores needed?
The university only requires General GRE scores. GRE subject scores are not required.
Where do I send my GRE score?
When you take your GRE, you can identify that it be sent directly to Designated Institution (DI) Code 7574.
I graduated from a university that reports official transcript results in a format other than a 4.0 Grade Point Average (e.g. using percentage or a scale of 5.0), will this be a problem when I apply?
Information regarding transcript credential evaluation can be found here. According to university regulations, applicants from non-4.0 Grade Point Average reporting institutions must have their transcripts assessed by the QU Graduate Studies Office. Applicants are required to submit their official transcripts to the QU Graduate Admission Office for credential evaluation and equivalency calculation.

Do I need to declare my research focus area prior to starting classes?
No. During interviews, you may express an interest in a particular area of research. However, you will have until the end of the Fall semester of the 1st year to identify a supervisor and an area of research interest.
How long will the program take to complete and how much will it cost?
Students are expected to be able to complete the program requirements in a minimum of 2 years. All students are expected to complete the requirements within a maximum of 4 years. The program requires 33 credit hours of course and thesis work. The tuition fees are set by the university and are currently set at QAR 2200/credit hour. See here.
