The research animals ordered and purchased only through LARC for the QU-IACUC-approved protocols. Currently LARC supports QU-IACUC-approved protocols that use rodents (rats or mice). Animals obtained from or going to non-commercial vendors will not be housed in LARC facility.
If QU researcher or Non QU researcher would like to bring their own animal models from their research labs, researchers should use quarantine services provided by trusted vendor such as Charles River, Jackson Laboratories and submit their health certificate prior to housing them in LARC
