QU Student Affairs

The Student Affairs at Qatar University is dedicated to enhancing the student experience by supporting the university's educational mission. With a team of over 400 professionals, the sector provides a range of quality programs and services to more than 24,000 students. These services span across multiple areas of development: emotional, spiritual, career, cognitive, and physical. The sector collaborates with various departments to ensure student success, offering services such as academic advising, career development, and financial aid.

About MENASA NASPA

NASPA, serves as the leading association for the advancement, health, and sustainability of the student affairs profession. With a diverse and passionate network of 15,000 professionals and 1,200 institutions across the globe, NASPA is committed to empowering its members to realize their full potential.

NASPA has many organizations and groups that tailor your NASPA experience to one's location, professional level, and institution type. One of the major areas is the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA) area which encompasses a diverse range of higher education institutions, languages and cultures. MENASA NASPA strives to engage and connect student affairs professionals in advancing service to students, campuses, and the student affairs/services field.

NASPA focuses on four key areas:

  • Advocacy for Student Success: Championing policies and practices that foster an inclusive and equitable educational environment.
  • Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice: Ensuring access, voice, acknowledgment, and opportunities for all members.
