Attendance Registration
Deadline: Submit the attendance form by end of workday
Monday, 28 April 2025.
During registration, indicate if you need a bisht (male faculty) or gown (female faculty).
Official Attire
Male Faculty Members
Options:

Black bisht (traditional Qatari) with white thobe

Academic gown (highest degree obtained)

Formal suit (navy/black) with:
- White shirt
- Maroon tie
- Black formal shoes
Note: Black bisht must be worn over formal suits
Protocol for Wearing the Bisht
- Right hand inside right sleeve, left hand gathers edges
- VPs/Deans: White bisht for morning, black for evening ceremonies
Female Faculty Members
Official Attire:

Black gown with gold embroidery (zari)
- Design incorporates QU logo elements
- Maroon accents represent Qatar's flag

Ceremony Schedule

Main Ceremonies: Arrive by 8:00 AM (gates close at 9:00 AM)

College Ceremonies:
- Morning: Arrive by 8:30 AM (gates close at 9:30 AM)
- Evening: Arrive by 2:30 PM (gates close at 3:30 PM)
Graduation Day Instructions
- Arrive at specified time (no late entry permitted)
- Wear official attire before entering
- Use faculty-designated entrance
- Collect graduation pin at registration area (wear on left side)
- Proceed to faculty seating area
- Faculty committee available for assistance
