Welcome to the Department of International Affairs at Qatar University. We offer a Bachelor's degree program in International Affairs covering a wide range of topics such as security, diplomacy, foreign policy, international economics, regional studies, conflict resolution, human rights, globalization, the politics of development, and foreign policies of major and emerging powers, as well as culture, heritage, and society. Additionally, we provide a Bachelor's program in Public Policy that focuses on public policy, decision-making processes, organizational behavior, international energy issues, transportation, social policies, urban planning, risk management, environmental issues, climate change policies, sustainability, and more.
Our department's programs combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills, equipping our graduates with labor market skills and enhancing their employability. Studying in our department goes beyond the classroom; it considers conferences, workshops, seminars, and field training as integral parts of the student learning experience.
