    The focus of research within the Department is on a number of areas. Our faculty and staff work across all chemistry disciplines, be it organic, inorganic, analytical, biochemistry or physical chemistry.

    Most of this work is possible owing to the availability of internal Resources and equipment within the Department. Additionally external facilities and collaborations available within Qatar University and beyond play a major role in research success.

    Securing funding is a key part of progressing the research interests of faculty and staff in the department and there are a number of sources that are utilized.
