    • Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF)


      Established by Qatar Foundation in 2006 as part of its ongoing commitment to establish Qatar as a knowledge-based economy, Qatar National Research Fund (ONRF) views research as essential to national and regional growth; as the means to diversify the nation’s economy, enhance educational offerings and develop areas that affect the community, such as health and environment. QNRF aims to foster original, competitively selected research in engineering and technology, physical and life sciences, medicine, humanities, social sciences and the arts.

    • EU-GCC Science, Technology and Innovation International Cooperation Network


      INCONET-GCC2 is a three year (2014-2017) project sponsored by European Commission – Directorate General for Research and Innovation – with a view to establish a “Science, Technology and Innovation International Cooperation Network between European Union and the Arab Gulf Countries aiming at the bi-regional coordination towards HORIZON2020.
