Program Requirements:
All applicants to the Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics program who meet the following minimum criteria will be considered for admission to the program:
- Completed a Bachelor degree in Science, engineering, agriculture or related field from a university or college accredited by an international accrediting association or by the Ministry of Higher Education or comparable in that country.with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent
- Applicants are expected to be proficient in English. Thus, applicants are required to demonstrate their English proficiency as part of the admission process by satisfying either of the following:
- Earned a previous degree from an institution of higher education in a Program where English was the language of instruction. OR
- Achieved a minimum score of 520 on the paper-based TOEFL (CBT = 190/ iBT = 68) or equivalent test/ ILETS with 5.5 score taken within 2 years of the start of the intended semester of admission.
- Satisfactory performance in the personal interview with the Admission committee.
Required Documents:
All applicants to the Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics program are required to submit the following documents to the Admissions Department:
- Complete Online Admissions Application
- Official Graduation Statement
- Final, official and certified university transcripts
- A personal statement (motivation letter) which applicant mention the reason for applying in the program ,working experience after the bachelor degree , and the benefit from having this certificate
- Two confidential recommendation letters from professors or employers
- A permit from the applicant’s work agency (if the applicant is a worker).
- Curriculum Vitae (C.V.)
- Health Certificate (from inside Qatar)
- Photocopy of the applicant’s Qatar ID card (Non-Qatari applicants must provide a copy of their passport)
