The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering offers comprehensive degree programs alongside a diverse array of research endeavors. Our dedication lies in delivering exceptional teaching, conducting research, and extending valuable service to the community. The department provides two distinct undergraduate majors: Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, we present various graduate study opportunities through our Master's and Ph.D. programs. Our department boasts well-equipped specialized laboratories, workshops, and computing facilities spanning various disciplines. We are fortunate to house a remarkable team of faculty members and supportive staff.

Many of our faculty members are esteemed international authorities within their respective fields of expertise. They are actively involved in both scholarly pursuits and fostering an environment conducive to enriching student learning experiences. Students benefit from hands-on exposure to real-world engineering challenges. This practical engagement, combined with their classroom and laboratory work, equips them with lifelong learning skills, making them appealing candidates for employment post-graduation. Our students engage in extracurricular activities such as the Shell Eco-Marathon competition and the Life is Engineering program. They are also encouraged and assisted in attending international conferences and visiting universities abroad.
