    Attain ISO Certification

The Institutional Quality Management section provides assistance and guidance to QU Administrative units and Research Centers for the attainment of ISO certification. This is in order to enhance units’ credibility by demonstrating that their services meet the expectations of their customers and end users and comply with an ISO management standard. The initial attainment of certification usually takes about six to eight months; after this, surveillance audits occur at an agreed-upon frequency for the remainder of the three-year cycle.

The Institutional Quality Management Section is currently facilitating the process of ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management Systems - Requirements) ISO 18295-1:2017 (Customer Contact Centres - Part 1 Requirements), and ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management Systems - Requirements) certification.
