Government and Industry Relations

The Office is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with the government and private sectors and international entities. The Office develops regulations and procedures for Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Agreements, and Sponsorship contracts that aim to organize and unify various efforts to achieve QU’s vision and objectives.

The Office is working with QU concerned units to develop an annual plan that aims at establishing strong and long-term partnerships with external entities, and attract sponsors for QU events and activities. Furthermore, the Department coordinates with the Department of Communication and Public Relations to implement marketing plans.

To sponsor QU event or activity at QU - For External Entities Qatar University seeks to achieve its strategic goals in a very efficient manner by organizing many events (academic and non-academic activities and programs) that serve the interest of students and QU graduates; and therefore, it welcomes and accepts any financial and in-kind sponsorship for these events offered by government and private entities and international bodies as part of their role to enhance their community participation. In addition, QU has dedicated a professorial chair, which is aimed to achieve fruitful cooperation and meet the shared needs and aspirations of the university and its partners in accordance with policies and laws.
