    Events Section

    ​ The section runs all events logistics including organization, planning, execution, and in this context, assumes the following: 

    • Prepare a list of annual events in coordination with University respective constituents and set the most appropriate dates
    • Prepare event detailed outline and agenda, a list of tasks, rehearsals and facilities required, and the extent to which activities comply with Qatar University policies and events Department.
    • Direct supervision of events organization and identifying responsibilities and roles related to the completion of the event requirements on time
    • Coordinate with the Brand and Creative Services Section on the required event designs and with the Media and Publishing Section on media coverage, and consult with the Marketing and Advertising Department on event advertising campaigns.
    • Ensure that Qatar University's standards and guidelines are met during the event.
    • Provide hospitality requirements and ensure that all requirements of senior guests are met
    • Ensure delivery of interpretation services in coordination with the Translation and Interpretation Section.
    • Supervise the provision of technology and audiovisual requirements in coordination with ITS
    • Prepare reports on the number of participants in each activity, level of impact, commitment to resources required, level of public satisfaction, success and commitment to the program.
    • Oversee the organization of events involving international relations.
    • Provide assistance and advice to QU colleges, departments and centers on how to organize events.
    • Register names of QU events attendees in order to shortlist the number of participants for evaluation and improvement purposes
