    • Dr. Hatoon al Fassi will present her talk titled "Is ther​e a Saudi Feminism?"  focusing on gender debate in Saudi Arabia. Dr. al Fassi is Associate Professor of International Affairs at Qatar University.

    • Dr. James Onley will present his talk titled "Indian Merchant Communities in Gulf Region, C.1500-1947" . Dr. Onley is Visiting Associate Professor of Gulf History at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, from the University of Exeter.

    • Dr. Marc Valeri will present his talk titled "Oman´s Foreign Policy"  focusing on Oman’s position on current regional issues. Dr. Valeri is the Director of the Center for Gulf Studies at University of Exeter.

    • PhD student Alieu Manjang will present his talk titled "Education as Public Diplomacy", focusing on the soft power potential of Qatari higher education. Alieu has extensive experience in Qatar's higher education system, including graduate education at QFIS and Qatar University
