Course Development: Traffic Safety and Human Behavior Title: Traffic Safety and Human Behavior Course Number: GENG 104 Course Level: Bachelor’s (3 credit hrs)(I-11) Course Language: English & Arabic Topic: The center developed and offered Human Behavior and Traffic Safety course GENG 104 in both languages for Qatar University as part of the actions of the National Road Safety Strategy of Qatar. This course introduces the fundamental concepts of traffic safety, and it demonstrates the main elements. It covers the following areas: principles of traffic safety and road users' behavior. The course investigates road user characteristics and limitations and how that affects traffic safety. The course will equip students with a knowledge of traffic safety and capabilities to analyze problems and help them play a positive role in addressing local traffic safety challenges through the Project Based Learning (PBL) approach.
