CEED 2022 Program
The increasing integration of new digital technologies into all areas of business and the constant digital innovation from all sectors have fundamentally transformed how entrepreneurs are creating and delivering value. These digital technologies are disrupting industries by destabilizing existing business models and changing the rules of the game. Existing evidence suggests that digital technologies enable new forms of innovation and entrepreneurial initiatives that cross traditional boundaries, and accelerate the inception, scaling and evolution of new ventures.
Digital transformation has profoundly affected businesses by introducing new business models, new types of products/services, and new types of customer experiences. We welcome papers that investigate this effect theoretically and empirically. We also welcome contributions on how existing companies are radically transforming themselves to succeed in the emerging digital world. We welcome scholars and practitioners around the world to join us
in person, in Doha, to discuss the conference theme, which includes but are not limited to the subthemes in the conference tracks.
About CEED
The Annual Conference on Entrepreneurship & Economic Development is one of the leading entrepreneurship conferences in the Middle East. CEED is a community of scholars and practitioners interested in entrepreneurship research, teaching and practice. Our mission is to provide a forum for sharing ideas and interaction to advance entrepreneurship research in the region. The objectives of this CEED is to foster research collaborations among our members; share experiences in entrepreneurship and innovation practices; and develop sustainable policies that address economic, social and environmental challenges.
About CFE
The Center for Entrepreneurship is a research center within the College of Business & Economics at Qatar University. Since 2013, the CFE has been involved in the development and implementation of strategies to support innovation and entrepreneurship in Qatar. The CFE activities include training, startup incubation, research and consultancy. CFE has a track record of accomplishment for working with government agencies and the private sector to build innovative solutions.
