Graduation 2021

Guests of Honor

Under the generous patronage of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar University (QU) will celebrate the 44 th Batch (Class 2021) Graduation Ceremony on Monday 11 October 2021, 10:00 am at QU’s Sports & Events Complex. The Graduation Ceremony of female graduates will be held under the patronage and presence of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Hamad bin Suhaim al Thani, Wife of His Highness the Emir, on Tuesday 12 October  2021, 10:00 am.

The graduation ceremony is an annual ceremony that celebrates the graduates of Qatar University since its establishment in 1977. This ceremony is a continuation of those ceremonies, in which we celebrate graduates with degrees (undergraduate and graduate studies) over two consecutive days for the main ceremonies, followed by college ceremonies; the first day is devoted to graduates and the second day is dedicated to distinguished female graduates. During the ceremony, safety measures approved by the State in combating the Covid-19 pandemic, including social distancing, will be taken into account. Therefore, attendance will be limited to graduates, senior university officials and one invited guest for each graduate, provided that the guest has completed two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine or has recovered from Covid-19.

The ceremony will recognize and honor QU graduates of a complete academic year starting from the semester (Fall 2020, Winter 2021, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021).

College Ceremonies

Successive college ceremonies will be held for women graduates following the main graduation ceremonies at the Sports and Events Complex at Qatar University. The dean of the college will honor the graduates (undergraduate and graduate), in the presence of the University President and Vice-Presidents.
