Qatar University (QU) and Hyperthink Systems have launched the third edition of the Qatar Entrepreneurship Awards, celebrating innovation and entrepreneurial excellence and honoring outstanding entrepreneurs who have demonstrated remarkable creativity and success across various sectors, also new category was announced for the next year edition of the Award by adding “Young & Talented Entrepreneurs" targeting young generation to participate The event took place at La Cigale Hotel, followed by a Ramadan Ghabgah attended by distinguished figures in entrepreneurship and innovation.
During the opening speech, Dr. Khalid Al-Hashimi, Director of the CEOE at QU, stated, “The Entrepreneurship Awards, in its third edition, is not only about recognizing the hard work and determination of individuals but also about fostering a culture of entrepreneurship that encourages collaboration and growth. These awards provide a vital platform for emerging businesses to thrive, create lasting impact, and contribute to the development of Qatar's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through our collective efforts, we are empowering the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of our nation and beyond."

In addition to these recognitions, an Exceptional Trophy of Appreciation, Resiliency in Entrepreneurship was awarded to Mohammed Al-Darwish, Founder of Al Rawnaq Trading Company
Dr. Reema Al-Kuwari, CEO and Founder of Adeer and the winner of the Women Entrepreneur of the Year award, expressed her pride, stating, “With immense pride, I dedicate this award to every Qatari woman striving to achieve her dreams. Similarly, Mr. Wisam Costandi, CEO of Emma Systems and the winner of the DeepTech Startup of the Year 2024 award, highlighted the importance of such events, stating, “This is truly a wonderful event. These kinds of initiatives are crucial in Qatar to support local entrepreneurs. Many times, we feel that our efforts go unnoticed, especially when we are not part of large trading and contracting companies from established families. Events like this provide us with the emotional and moral support needed to keep going. The event also featured an uplifting speech from keynote speaker, Mr. Michael Lints, a partner at Golden Gate Ventures. He inspired the audience with his journey from corporate life to successful entrepreneurship and how he urged founders to harness AI for groundbreaking opportunities. He emphasized that a person must believe in his potential, embrace failures, and fearlessly push boundaries.
