The College of Law at Qatar University (QU), in collaboration with the Qatar International Media Office, welcomed a distinguished British academic delegation to foster academic and research cooperation. The delegation comprised prominent professors and experts in peace, conflict resolution, and international law, alongside representatives from the International Media Office.

Dr. Talal Al-Emadi, Dean of the College of Law at QU, expressed his enthusiasm for the visit, emphasizing its significance in building stronger ties between QU and leading British academic institutions. Dr. Ezieddin Elmahjub, Associate Professor of Private Law, also attended the reception, underscoring the college's commitment to international engagement.

The delegation featured esteemed academics, including Prof. Richard Caplan, Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford; Prof. Marc Weller, Professor of International Law at the University of Cambridge; and Prof. Roger Mac Ginty, Professor in Defense, Development, and Diplomacy at Durham University.

During the visit, the British delegation toured the college's state-of-the-art facilities and reviewed its academic programs and research initiatives. A discussion session was held to address pressing topics related to peace, conflict, and international law. The exchange of ideas and expertise highlighted shared interests and paved the way for future collaborations.

Speaking about the visit, Dr. Talal Al-Emadi, Dean of the College of Law at QU, remarked, “We are honored to host this distinguished delegation from the United Kingdom. Such engagements are crucial in promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise while opening new doors for academic and research partnerships.
