For universities located in Qatar
- The transcript must be official.
- The transcript must be final.
- The transcript must be stamped and signed by an appropriate university official.
- The university must be recognized by the Qatar Ministry of Education (no Ministry stamps required from universities known to be recognized).
For universities located outside of Qatar
- The transcript must be official.
- The transcript must be final.
- The university must be accredited by an international accrediting association or by the Ministry of Higher Education or equivalent authority in that country.
- An Arabic or English translation of the final transcript must accompany the transcript if it is issued in a language other than Arabic or English.
- If the university is accredited by an international accrediting association (accreditation recognition must be listed on the official transcript), no further attestation is required.
- If the university is not accredited internationally, the transcript must be certified by the Ministry of Higher Education or equivalent in that country in which the university is located. The transcript must also be certified by either:
- The Qatar Embassy in that country; or
- The Embassy of that country located in Doha.
Note: Academic degrees obtained from online distance learning programs, or ones obtained from research based track programs (without studying courses) are not accepted
