    Requirements for the Graduate Programs

    Applicants seeking admission into the various Diploma, Masters, and Ph.D. programs at Qatar University need to submit multiple competency test scores at the time of the application.

    Test score requirements differ by program, so applicants are encouraged to pay careful attention to all requirements for each academic program.

    Additionally, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their test scores according to the admission timeline.

    Competency Test requirements for the Graduate Applicants

    For specific minimum-required competency test scores for each program, please visit the academic programs.

    Following are the competency requirements as set by Qatar University.

     

    Competency Test Score's Validity

    The test scores submitted should be valid on the first day of the class of the semester to which the application is made. Invalid score reports will not be processed. Students with scores older than the validity period should retake the test and submit the score to Qatar University Testing Center.

    • English test scores are no longer valid if older than two years from the start of the semester of the intended admission. Students with scores older than two years must re-take the required test to validate these scores.
    • GRE and GMAT test scores are no longer valid if older than five years at the start of the semester of the intended admission. Students with scores older than five years must re-take the required test to validate these scores

     

    Important Notes

    • The test scores must be submitted to the Qatar University Testing Center before the deadline to submit in order to process your application. Late submission of grades will affect the assessment of the application.
    • TOEFL iBT: Please log in to your TOEFL iBT account and send scores to us through your account. Qatar University’s recipient code to send TOEFL iBT scores is 8943. QUTC will receive the score electronically from ETS.
    • GRE: Please log in to your GRE account and send scores to us through your account. Qatar University’s recipient code to send GRE scores is 7569. QUTC will receive the score electronically from ETS.
    • GMAT: Please log in to your GMAT account- www.mba.com and send scores to us by selecting Qatar University as the recipient institution. QUTC will receive the score electronically from GMAC.
    • IELTS:  Submit the original IELTS certificate to the QU Graduate Admissions along with a copy of your passport and Qatar ID, or students may submit these test scores to Qatar University Testing Center following the instruction here.
    • Qatar University Testing Center reserves the right to verify any standardized test scores and re-test students.
