    Description:

    Banner INB is the administrative area of Banner. It is primarily used by administrative offices to view and update/maintain data and process transactions. It is also used by support to view student information.

    Benefits & Features:

    Banner Access: Staff after having access on Banner INB, can control banner services for students and faculties, related to his/her department.

    Access Request:

    Departments can request access for their employees or Staff should fill the access request form and get approval from this department and send it to Student Information Section (SIS) to proceed.

    Description:

    The primary mission of the Administrative Information Systems team is to provide consultation to QU constituents regarding business processes and supporting administrative technical solutions.

    This includes designing new applications to facilitate manual processes, redesign or improvement of existing Enterprise applications, and integrating QU systems.

    With our own staff, and working closely with trusted third party resources, we've developed expertise in various product platforms, and can tailor custom solutions for unique needs across QU.

Cognos is designed to enable business users without technical knowledge to extract data from various sources, analyze and generate integrated reports.

    Description:

    Millennium is an integrated Library System that manages the library acquisitions, cataloging, circulation, holding, and electronic resources. It provides a point-and-click user interface for library staff and integrates with electronic resources/databases enabling students to access these resources in a controlled fashion. Qatar University Library’s deployment utilizes the circulation, acquisition, and cataloging and e-resources management modules along with the stable and tested online public access catalog software "WebPAC".

    Innovative Millennium is a Web-based and Java-based automated library system that integrates future-forward technologies from a company with 25 years of successfully library experience.

    Millennium provides the service myLibrary which allows library patrons to:

    • Search the catalogue in a personalized manner
    • Renew their existing book loans online
    • View their fines and make payments via the library payment service
    • Make holds/request on books
    • Create reading lists and export them
    • Self-booking individual or group study rooms for students
    • View their Reading History

    myLibrary is the library’s Online Public Access Catalog or OPAC tool that allows patrons to search the library and interact with the library via their account.

    myLibrary account contains the users loans and reading lists and provides them with access to library circulation and loan services

    Description:

    QSpace Institutional Repository consists of the scholarly output of Qatar University (QU) and its faculty members and graduate students. It highlights the academic achievements of the QU community on a local and global scale.

    Benefits & Features:

    • It increases the visibility of scholarly output of QU members.
    • It is a central archive of QU authors’ works and a record of publications.
    • It enables QU to publicize its research and teaching programs.
    • It increases visibility for Qatar University hence its global and regional ranking
    • User mobile interface.
    • Content is offered in Arabic, English and other international languages.
    • Integrated interface with main database providers (such as ScienceDirect, PubMed and Scopus)
    • Follows international standards (ORCID author ID, search by DOI and more)

    Access Request:

    QSpace is accessible via http://qspace.qu.edu.qa and includes QU academic publications (such as scholarly articles, university publications, student’s theses).

    QSpace content is limited to digital research materials for which the copyright is owned by the author or by Qatar University.
