    SESRI Events

Training sessions are an integral part of SESRI's offerings. Since its inception in 2008, the institute has been involved in the training and development of hundreds of researchers, faculty members, graduate and undergraduate students. From survey design to data analysis, capacity building in the area of survey research methodology is a consistent theme in SESRI's training sessions.

The sessions are mostly delivered by experienced trainers from SESRI and the University of Michigan's Institute of Survey Research. They target beginner and intermediate-level researchers who rely on survey data for the completion of their projects. Attendees are able to benefit from coaching by top-notch survey researchers and are provided with ample networking opportunities.

The sessions blend theoretical discussions with hands-on applications, often involving exercises to test out the theoretical aspects being discussed. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software is commonly used in the training sessions.
