Master of Science (MSc.) in Civil Engineering
Degree Requirements:
A minimum of 36 credit hours are required to complete the Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering including the following:

A minimum of 12 credit hours of core courses (General Engineering “GENG” courses).

A minimum of 12 credit hours of technical electives ( Civil Engineering courses).

A minimum of 12 credit hours in thesis requirements.
A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 at the completion of the degree. Master’s students are expected to publish or have a confirmation of final acceptance for at least one article in reputable journal by the time they defend their thesis.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering
Degree Requirements:
A minimum of 60 credit hours are required to complete the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Civil Engineering including the following:

A minimum of 15 credit hours of core courses (General Engineering “GENG” courses).

A minimum of 12 credit hours of technical electives (Civil Engineering courses).

A minimum of 33 credit hours in thesis requirements.
A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 at the completion of the degree. Doctoral students must publish or have a confirmation of final acceptance of two articles in reputable journals prior to filling for graduation.
