Welcome to the Technology Innovation and Engineering Education (TIEE) unit's website.
The TIEE website provides an overview of the vision, focus and support that TIEE will provide to other CENG Departments and Offices in elevating technological innovation, and educational innovation in the college.
Our aim is to become a leading regional model and development force in the practice and scholarship of technology innovation, entrepreneurship, and engineering education.
We are playing a major role in the integrative of engineering disciplines for fostering engineering and technology innovation for solving real problems of Qatar and the region. On the other hand, TIEE is also working towards excelling in applied research in Engineering education research, technology-enhanced learning research, innovation and technology management research; all for solving contextual national and regional problems.
Under our umbrella, two main areas that the unit is running and facilitating:
- General Engineering program that includes 6 courses offered to students every semester.
- Innovation and Engineering Education where the unit organizes frameworks for multidisciplinarity in research, teaching and innovation.
