Qatar University (QU) and the QU Young Scientists Center are pleased to announce the launch of the highly anticipated Sixth Youth Research Forum 2024 on 6 March 2024. This forum serves as a global platform for young researchers to convene, exchange experiences, and present their innovative research findings. Under the theme "Innovation for Developing Societies," the event aims to foster collaboration and inspire groundbreaking solutions to the challenges faced in various scientific, technological, social, and economic fields.
Expressing her thoughts on the significance of scientific research and development, Prof. Noora Al-Thani, Director of the QU Young Scientists Center, said, “Universities have the largest and most important role in the movement of scientific research and development, as they are the highest educational and research institutions. QU has always been a pioneer in achieving important strategies and aspirations to ensure the country's progress and spread its benefits to the world.”
The Youth Research Forum 2024 invites undergraduate and postgraduate students from Qatar, the GCC, and international universities to participate and showcase their research within the following themes:
First: Humanities and Social Sciences:
The first theme focuses on the role of innovation in the humanities and social sciences, emphasizing its impact on developing societies. Researchers are encouraged to submit papers that explore the following topics:

It is worth mentioning that since its inception in 2021, the QU Young Scientists Center has successfully organized the Youth Research Forum each year in collaboration with the Qatar National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science. By selecting research topics based on important global events, the center has contributed to an extensive expansion of research areas where young individuals can make valuable contributions. To ensure a fair evaluation process, the center appoints a committee of esteemed professors and researchers, both within and outside of QU, who possess significant expertise in the field.
