Qatar University Research Complex
Qatar University’s Research Complex is a purpose built state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance the university’s capacity to achieve its objective of serving the community and country through research. The complex is equipped with research laboratories that are of the highest international standards in all ramifications. It hosts a group of national and international scholars of high caliber in most of the science fields related to the country’s development and the welfare of its people.
The 25,000 square meter structure has a 200 capacity auditorium, offices and meeting rooms to meet the ever-evolving needs of researchers and students. It is home to the Center for Advanced Materials (CAM), Environmental Science Center (ESC), Gas Processing Center (GPC), Kindi Lab for Computing Research, Laboratory Animal Research Center (LARC) and Biomedical Research Center (BRC).
With the resources and facilities of the Research Complex, Qatar University is touching the community and serving its industrial partners with its research outputs. It is a demonstration of the growth in research at Qatar University to serve the State of Qatar in its ambition to become a knowledge-based economy in line with Qatar National Vision 2030
