In the context of the National Forum for Innovation and Industrial Investment, organized by Qatar Development Bank (QDB), in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Finance, Qatar University (QU), through the KINDI Center for Computing Research, partnered with the QU based Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC) to conduct a workshop titled 'Prompt Engineering and Harnessing the Power of AI to Support Automation and Data Analysis.'

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Rateb Al-Jabbar from the KINDI Center for Computing Research and Engineer Laith Hamad from QMIC, both of whom represented QU.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness among industrialists and those interested in Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies, demonstrating how these technologies can be applied to support digital transformation in the industrial sector. Additionally, it sought to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to adopt the latest technologies, contribute to the development of Qatar's industrial sector, and enhance its competitiveness. The workshop also provided case studies and best practices in the field of the 4IR. Ultimately, this initiative aimed to empower Qatar's industrial sector to keep pace with modern technological advancements and strengthen its ability to compete in the global market.

The workshop contributed to the advancement of digital transformation, playing a vital role in disseminating knowledge regarding the latest technologies that facilitate digital transformation in the industrial sector, thereby enhancing efficiency and productivity.

The initiative supports the industrial development sector by providing specialized workshops that help improve workers' skills and capabilities, enabling them to adopt the latest technologies.

Additionally, the event aligned with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, which emphasizes innovation and sustainable development. It also facilitated the dissemination of specialized knowledge by providing a platform for exchanging expertise and insights among experts and specialists in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), fostering a culture of technological advancement and innovation.

In a statement, Dr. Rateb Al-Jabbar, an AI and cybersecurity researcher at the KINDI Center at QU, stated, “I am pleased to participate in delivering the training workshop on 'Prompt Engineering and Harnessing the Power of AI to Support Automation and Data Analysis,' which is part of a joint effort involving QU, QDB, the Ministry of Finance, Manateq company, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Given the rapid advancements in AI, our goal through this workshop is to enhance technical awareness and enable Qatar's industrial sector to keep pace with the latest (4IR) technologies, strengthening its competitiveness and supporting the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030 objectives."

It is worth noting that this event aims to highlight the significance of 4IR technologies and their application in Qatar's industrial sector. These educational workshops are part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's efforts to promote awareness of the latest technologies and practices that support digital transformation, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030 objectives of fostering sustainable development and innovation.
