LAWC Centre for Law and Development (the Centre) Director Dr Jon Truby and Centre for Financial Regulation and Economic Development (CFRED) Director Prof Julien Chaisse recently had a meeting in which they explored collaboration opportunities between the Centre and CFRED.

The meeting discussions focused on the research and development programs of each center and the possibility of organizing joint conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Dr Jon Truby said: “CFRED’s purpose complements the Centre’s objectives. Through this collaboration, we hope to build ties between both centers for mutual benefit. We expect to create a fruitful collaboration with CFRED in the future.”

Prof Chaisse said: “The visit and exchanges focused on discussing the possible partnership between both institutions, as well as the collaboration and joint development of projects in the fields of legal education, international legal studies, and international arbitration.”
