QU HEALTH STRATEGY:
Following the establishment of QU Health, there was an obvious need to have a strategy in place to set direction for the cluster and establish priorities based on national health needs. QU Health strategy was developed in response to a request from the QU Board of Regents (BoR) in 2018.
A Steering Committee, chaired by HE Dr. Hanan Al-Kuwari, was formed with representatives from MoPH, HMC, and PHCC to oversee the development of QU Health Strategy.
The Strategy and Development Office at QU Health guides the strategic and operational development of the QU Health Cluster through strategic planning, analysis, and delivery. The office also oversees the development and approval process for strategic initiatives and leads the development of sub-strategies as required to support the implementation of the overall QU health strategy.
