The College of Medicine is established in line with international accreditation requirements for medical programs, as specified by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). We will work with leading experts and accreditors in the field to ensure that the MD degree is comparable to the best programs internationally. The MD program will be designed to qualify students to enter seamlessly into graduate medical education after completing the MD degree.
We also prepare our students to sit for international medical licensing exams (such as USMLE) to ensure their smooth transition into graduate medical education (such as residency and fellowship programs). Students will be especially prepared to enter residency programs within Qatar.
