Transfer Admission Criteria
If you are considering transferring to College of Medicine, you must complete ALL the first mentioned set of requirements mentioned above needed by the college. The Medical Student Interview Committee, which includes faculty members appointed by the Dean, will identify the top students. An email will be sent to them to submit their personal statements (~350 words) describing their motivation to study medicine. The personal statements are reviewed by a committee and on basis of personal qualifications, academic record and personal statement, applicants are invited for interview. At the completion of the interview cycle a ranked list is established by the Admissions Committee based on academic and personal qualifications.
