    Dr. Shereen Elazzazy






    Dr. Shereen Elazzazy is an Asst. Director of Pharmacy & Head of Clinical Services in the National Center for Cancer Care & Research (NCCCR), Qatar, and a WHO consultant (Cancer expert). She received her BScPharm from Egypt, then two doctor degrees, a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Purdue University, USA in 2011, and a PhD in Pharmaceuticals and pharmacy Practice from Kingston University, UK in 2023. In addition, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Spain 2021, and a Diploma of Specialization in Coaching and NLP from Spain in 2021. She completed several certifications from Harvard University, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), University of Southern Indiana, the University of Georgia, ACCP, ASPEN, INSEAD France, BMJ Research, University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Purdue university and others.

    Dr. Shereen she is a Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University since 2024, and an adjunct faculty since 2011. Furthermore, she is a Clinical Sponsor of PharmD program, University of Colorado, USA, Instructor for BMJ clinical trials, and a local mentor for Pharmacy School and Queen's University, UK. She has numerous peer-reviewed publications and abstracts presented in national, regional and international events. Additionally, she is an Editor/ Editorial Board member in 13 peer reviewed journals and a peer reviewer in 8 international journals.

    Dr. Shereen has extensive experience in hospital/ clinical/ industrial pharmacy, clinical trials & clinical research, academic teaching, education & mentorship, healthcare quality, business development & business management, leadership & management, strategic planning, and Join Commission accreditation and certification. Her areas of expertise are mainly oncology, parenteral nutrition, palliative care, hematology, precision medicine, VTE, clinical trials, publication & editing, business management, and pharmacy practice. She received many awards and recognition on national and international levels and was endorsed by the UNESCO Qatar.











    Dr. Rana Moustafa




    Dr. Rana Moustafa is the lead of the Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacists' team at Hamad General Hospital (HGH), part of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2007 from Al Mansoura University, Egypt, with honors, followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy from Queen's University Belfast, UK, in 2012. In 2022, she completed her PhD in Clinical Pharmacy at Robert Gordon University, Scotland, UK.

    At HGH, Dr. Moustafa oversees the internal medicine clinical pharmacy team and provides services at the anticoagulation clinic. She is actively involved in clinical research, quality improvement projects, and the development of national guidelines. As a dedicated educator, Dr. Moustafa has been a PharmD preceptor for Qatar University students since 2012 and supervises pharmacy residents at HGH in medicine and anticoagulation rotations. Her research interests include diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and pharmacy practice, with a focus on quality improvement initiatives.
