Mission Statement:

The mission of the Precision Medicine Research Network Group (PMRNG) is to advance the adoption and application of precision medicine methodologies within the healthcare landscape of Qatar. To fulfil this overarching goal, our strategy involves facilitating early disease detection, precise diagnostic procedures, and enhanced therapeutic outcomes through the comprehensive analysis of population-wide phenotypic traits, genotypes, multi-omics data, and real-world clinical data. Our precision medicine paradigm integrates diverse research interests to optimize healthcare outcomes by tailoring it to specific genetic ancestries. Throughout our research endeavors, we aim to incorporate the fundamental principles of precision medicine, encompassing predictiveness, preventive measures, personalization, and active participation (the "4P" framework), into all aspects of our research activities.

Mission Statement:

The Rheumatology and Chronic Pain research networking group established within Qatar University in the Fall of 2021, comprises of a diverse group of experts, and could be the driving force required to significantly boost rheumatology and chronic pain research in Qatar. Through strategic collaborations between the various colleges, it is envisaged that a number of research topics can potentially be targeted. Wider collaboration will also be encouraged with Qatar-based private and public institutions like Aspetar, Hamad Medical co-operation, Sidra, Weill-Cornell, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Rehabilitation Institution, etc. The premise is that within the larger group, a number of sub-groups will form to tackle specific topics which may relate to each other or be distinct areas of interest.
