The one-year Foundation English program is an intensive program which provides an active experience for students in small classes. Students require a grade of C (70%) and must attend classes in accordance with the Qatar University attendance policy.
This new Foundation English program is divided into two parts:
Intensive English Program (Elementary), focuses on basic English language skills.
Academic English Program (Intermediate), helps prepare students specifically for the colleges of Science, Engineering, Pharmacy and Medicine.
By completing and passing all level courses of the program, students can begin their undergraduate courses in English at Qatar University without any additional exams.
Some students may be eligible to begin their undergraduate courses earlier if their schedule and credit hour load allow.
