    The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

    The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) connects educators, students, and businesses under the common goal of creating future generations of outstanding business leaders. Synonymous with the highest standards of excellence since 1916, AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence and professional development services to over 1,600 member organizations and nearly 800 accredited business schools worldwide.

    Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)

     The CIM is a professional body for marketing practitioners in the United Kingdom and around the world. It offers qualifications, training, and membership services for marketers at all levels of their careers. It also promotes the value and importance of marketing in business and society.

     

    Chartered Management Institute (CMI)

    The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is a professional institution for management based in the United Kingdom. It works with business and education to inspire people to become skilled, confident and successful managers and leaders.

     

     Digital Marketing Institute (DMI)

    The DMI is a global organization that offers digital marketing certification and training for individuals and businesses. DMI has collaborated with the American Marketing Association (AMA) to provide a dual certification for digital marketing. professionals. DMI also has a network of over 100 partner universities that offer DMI-accredited courses and programs.

    Accounting Accreditations

     

    AACSB Accounting

     The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accounting accreditation is a prestigious recognition for business schools worldwide. It represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools and their accounting programs. Schools that earn this accreditation demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review.

    CPA Australia

     CPA Australia is one of the world’s largest accounting bodies, providing the CPA designation, a highly respected professional qualification in accounting. CPA Australia accreditation indicates that an accounting program meets the educational standards required for graduates to pursue the CPA designation, reflecting a program's relevance, quality, and rigor in the field of accounting.

    ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

    The ACCA is a global body for professional accountants offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification (ACCA). ACCA accreditation for academic programs signifies that the curriculum aligns with the competencies and values required by the ACCA, preparing students for a career in finance and accountancy.

    CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)

     CIMA is the world’s largest professional body of management accountants, offering the CIMA Professional Qualification in management accounting. Accreditation by CIMA indicates that an academic program provides the necessary foundation in management accounting, business, and finance, preparing students for a career in this field.

    IMA (Institute of Management Accountants)

     IMA is a professional organization focused on advancing the management accounting profession. IMA accreditation of an academic program signifies the program’s alignment with the professional standards and competencies required for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification, emphasizing the program’s quality in preparing students for roles in management accounting and corporate finance.

     

    CFA-accredited (affiliated) University

     

    The University Affiliation Program recognizes academic institutions that embed at least 70% of the CFA® Program Candidate Body of Knowledge™ (CBOK) into their curricula. Through cooperation with universities around the world, we seek to promote ethics-based investment education in university degree programs aimed at developing investment professionals.

     

     The CFA Institute is a global association of investment professionals with more than 90,000 members and 135 societies worldwide. The CFA Institute publishes research, conducts professional development programs and sets ethics-based professional and performance reporting standards for the investment industry. They also offer a range of educational services across the world and the associated professional exams. The CFA ® Program is an educational program that entails three levels of exams. Level I exams are held in May, July, August and November and Levels II and III are held in May, August and November. The exams occur at CFA Institute test centres. It is widely considered as the investment profession's most rigorous credentialing program with less than one in five candidates enrolling in the program achieving success in earning the CFA ® Charter. To become a CFA Charter holder, all CFA Institute requirements have to be met in addition to passing all three levels of the exams sequentially and adhering to specified standards of professional conduct.

    Global Business School Network (GBSN)

    Founded in 2003 by the World Bank, the Global Business School Network (GBSN) is now an independent global non-profit organization. GBSN collaborates with business schools, industry, foundations, and aid agencies to enhance access to quality, locally relevant management education in the developing world. Aligned with the mission of advancing emerging economies, GBSN develops activities, programs, and projects aimed at fostering the creation of new knowledge, providing meaningful international experiences, and building transformative relationships in management education. Additionally, GBSN serves as a champion and change maker for economic and social development, offering broad visibility to its member schools.

     

    Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME)

    The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a United Nations-supported initiative founded in 2007 that aims to raise the profile of sustainability in classrooms through Seven Principles focused on serving society and safeguarding our planet. PRME engages business and management schools to ensure they provide future leaders with the skills needed to balance economic, environmental, and social goals, while drawing attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligning academic institutions with the work of the UN Global Compact. Driven by its mission to transform management education, PRME equips today's business students with the understanding and ability to deliver change tomorrow.

     

    The MENA Business Schools Alliance for Sustainability (MEBAS)

    The College of Business & Economics at Qatar University aims to connect various AACSB-accredited business schools in the MENA region to encourage regional collaboration among these schools and their stakeholders, which include students, faculty members, practitioners, policymakers, and governments. The goal is to establish and execute an agenda that promotes the fight against the impact of climate change by educating current and future leaders about the challenges of achieving sustainability. To this end, the “MENA Business Schools Alliance for Sustainability” is a proposed platform that seeks to unite business schools in the MENA region with the overarching goals of promoting environmental stewardship, capacity building, and advancing sustainability objectives, including monitoring the implementation of the Paris Agreement. The alliance’s primary focus is on business education’s role in achieving these goals.
