The Department of Accounting and Information Systems at the College of Business and Economics received a five-year accreditation (January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2022) by the
CPA Australia
The BBA Accounting has been accredited by the CPA Australia. The accreditation offers graduates of the Accounting program of the College of Business and Economies a direct entry into the Professional level of the CPA Program enabling graduates to pursue a further professional designation that is internationally recognized. The BBA Accounting program of College of Business and Economics Qatar University is the first undergraduate accountancy program in Qatar to receive accreditation from this professional institution adding to the program’s prestigious status. The accreditation of CPA Australia combined with the accreditation from the UK’s Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the quality endorsement by Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) reflects the department commitments to diversity and engagement with different international professional bodies. It also symbolizes the quality of the BBA Accounting curriculum, faculty, assessment and methods of delivery.
