With the start of this current academic year, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all students, faculty and those visiting our college website. I take pride in the central role which the College of Education plays in fulfilling Qatar University’s mission and course of action as it seeks to improve the education system in Qatar. I am very proud of our accomplishments and am particularly pleased that the College has earned its academic accreditation. I am also very proud of the steady growth and progress we have achieved, as this inspires all of us to work harder and exert more assiduous efforts in the service of our country, humanity, knowledge, and scholarship.
In carrying out its mission, the College of Education is determined to educate and prepare citizens who are able to serve the community and meet the needs of the job market, according to internationally recognized criteria. This the College strives to attain by providing a supportive learning environment designed to meet the highest international standards. By conducting research, training and different other activities, the College continues to cultivate, build, and maintain strong and effective relations with the community and stakeholders.
I wish all our students success in their studies and I urge them to try their best to acquire the knowledge and academic skills crucial for success in their future lives. No less important are the social skills and experience gained from interaction with faculty, or gleaned through relevant activities organized by the College, in the service of Qatar.
With the start of the academic year come joy and motivation, but also new challenges that can turn into opportunities and accomplishments to rejoice. At the College of Education, we try to give our students and colleagues the best educational opportunities that will arouse their ambitions and help materialize their goals. In so doing, they will all take part in the future growth and development of Qatar. Indeed, building human capital is the most noble and most important objective of the College of Education since it is the most fundamental component of life on earth. Let us work together, share our expertise, and exchange our cultural experiences with those around us.
