About us
Reading Together for Qatar is one of the National Center for Educational development (NCED) projects which aims at improving the quality of educational outcomes referred to in Qatar vision 2030.
The project intends to support students in Qatari public schools who struggle in reading Arabic language by developing their reading skills to become confident readers. The project is rigorous and designed based on the National Arabic language standards and several educational resources.
Our Objectives
- Empower early year’s students to improve their Arabic language reading skills.
- Promote the culture of professional learning among teachers in Qatar Primary Schools.
- Boost the Education for a New Era (EFNE) initiative by enriching the educational literature with the project results.
Targeted Audience
Students from grade 2 to 4 in Qatar public schools (male/female)
Our Events
- Honoring 19 primary schools for their participation in the Reading Program since its inception.
- Honoring 410 female teachers who participated in the reading training program.
- Honoring 179 female teachers who participated in the Reading Program last cycle.
- Participating in the Virtual Educational Forum "Towards an Entrepreneurial Education in Emergencies", held under the patronage of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
