It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the services provided by the Academic Affairs Office at the College of Education - Qatar University. The Office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs takes overall responsibility for the quality assurance of the academic programs at the College of Education. The office mainly seeks to achieve the quality and effectiveness of the academic programs in line with the mission of the College of Education and its Goals at Qatar University and in accordance with the best international standards. The office partakes in a rigorous quality assurance process of all academic programs according to international standards while managing all undergraduate curriculum issues, college faculty affairs, , generating college annual reports, monitoring improvement actions, establishing academic planning and representing the college in various university academic activities.
The office includes two main units including the students support unit and the field training unit. The learning support unit “Success Oasis” at the College of Education aims to strengthen and support the students to continue the success and excellence in their courses and overcome the obstacles that face them. This is achieved by supporting the academic aspects for CED students; those aspects which contribute to student's success at the University in order to help them be development and progression makers in the educational process. The field training unit partakes process of supervising Internship and field hours experiences which organized for all students at the College. The unit is committed to be a guiding medium and a tool which enhances communication between all the beneficiaries and the partners (Ministry of Education and Higher Education- MOEHE).
Finally, we must mention the important role which faculty members and staff plays in the Academic Affairs Office. Everyone works in the spirit of one team, each according to his/her specialization and assigned responsibilities, in order to reach the desired goals in the educational process.
